Provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. Challenges the death penalty and excessive punishment and provides re-entry assistance to formerly incarcerated people.

National Police Accountability Project

Project of the National Lawyers Guild to protect the human and civil rights of individuals in their encounters with law enforcement and detention facility personnel.

The Loveland Foundation

Connects Black women with mental health support and raises money to pay for their therapy sessions.

Free Minds Book Club

Uses books and creative writing to empower young inmates to transform their lives. Free Minds hosts inmate book clubs, publishes inmate poetry on their blog, and mentors and connects them to supportive services throughout their entire incarceration into reentry.
